From what I hear, they're pretty solid. Uptime guarantees are usually 99.9%, so should be good for most things. As for DO, I'd say they're definitely trying to compete on features and performance, maybe a bit cheaper on some plans.

Yeah, I've been using them for a minute now. Performance-wise, it's really close to DO for my use case, and I picked them because I got a good new user credit that saved me a bunch upfront. Data centers are decent too.

Yeah, I got a $50 credit when I signed up last fall, it was pretty sweet. Just double check the terms, sometimes they expire after a bit. For annual billing, you usually get a decent chunk off, like 15-20% compared to month-to-month, so totally worth it if you're sticking around.
